Ouimette was pleased with his accomplishment. “I’m just going to be focusing on playing more and more poker games. I’ve been doing it full time for three years now and I’ve learned from the best players in the world, so I am pretty confident,” he said.
Ouimette’s win in this particular event is notable because he was up against a fairly strong poker professional as Amarith Keo was his opponent. Justin Ouimette commented on the main event of the Canadian Poker Classic. “It was three long days of poker. It was a really tough field with a lot of good poker players. I played really good. It was just a great feeling to win,” he said.
This edition of the Canadian Poker Classic tournament was hosted by the Stardust Poker Mansion based in Kanhawaka.
